
Risa Haridza, PhD
About SIR Fellow
Risa Haridza, PhD is a science educator and researcher with extensive experience in science teaching, teacher education, curriculum development, and educational research. She holds a PhD in STEM Education from The Ohio State University and is a Scholar-in-Residence at the Faculty of Education, Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII). She also serves as a science teacher and Vice Principal for Academic Affairs at SMPN 3 Kota Pontianak. Her research focuses on scientific reasoning, instructional strategies, professional development, and science learning, with expertise in international large-scale assessment data, particularly TIMSS and PISA. Her work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals. She has also served as an Indonesian facilitator in STEM microcredential programs supported by Kemdikdasmen in collaboration with Korea National University of Education (KNUE) and Monash University.
