Lunch Talk #58: Networking for Equity: How to Design Collaborative, Inclusive Educational Leadership Preparation Programs

You are invited to join the Lunch Talk #58 at the Faculty of Education, UIII
Aziz Awaludin, PhD (Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia) will share about: Networking for Equity: How to Design Collaborative, Inclusive Educational Leadership Preparation Programs
The talk is based on his dissertation research drawing on a nationwide U.S. initiative involving 70 organizations across 21 states from 2021 to 2025. It utilizes an innovative mixed-methods approach, including longitudinal social network analysis, structural topic modeling, and qualitative analyses, to examine how universities, school districts, and state agencies transition from siloed institutions to highly integrated partnerships. By framing educational leadership preparation programs as shared “boundary objects”, the study demonstrates how diverse stakeholders navigate bureaucratic friction, share authority, and leverage relational trust to co-produce inclusive, localized curricula. The talk will translate these findings into insights for the broader Indonesian K-12 education system.
