Prof. Norimune Kawai, PhD (Professor of The Institute of Diversity and Inclusion, Hiroshima University, Japan) will share about: “Current Issues in Inclusive Education: Bridging Research, Policy, and Practice”.

This lecture will explore contemporary challenges in inclusive education, drawing on recent empirical research across diverse educational contexts. It will examine how evidence-based findings inform policy development and classroom practice, while also highlighting the persistent gaps between reform agendas and implementation. By bridging research, policy, and practice, the session aims to provide critical insights that enrich scholarly reflection and professional engagement among MA and PhD students.
