About Lecturer
Afifah Muharikah, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D. is a lecturer and researcher at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia, with a growing research focus on inclusive education and neurodiversity in language learning. She completed her Ph.D. at the School of Humanities, Language, and Social Science, Griffith University, Australia, where she investigated inclusive interactions between autistic and non-autistic students in second language (L2) classrooms.
Afifah also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics for L2 Teaching from Universitas Indonesia and has taught at Politeknik Negeri Jakarta. She recently held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Public Policy Research Centre, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Her research interests include inclusive communication, second language teaching for autistic learners, and broader issues of accessibility in education.
